Terms & Conditions – The Event House

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of The Event House (TEH) services, including event planning, coordination, and consultation. By engaging TEH and making any payment, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

• TEH offers planning, coordination, and management services for weddings, corporate events, social gatherings, and private celebrations.

• Deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities will be detailed in your individual client agreement.

2. Payments

• Payment milestones, cancellation rules, and refund guidelines are strictly as described in our Payment Policy (which forms part of these Terms).

• Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in suspension or cancellation of services.

3. Consultation and Venue Match Services

• One-time consultation or venue-matching services are available as standalone offerings.

• These are charged separately and are 100% non-refundable regardless of subsequent bookings.

4. Third-Party Vendors

• TEH may suggest or coordinate with third-party vendors (venues, caterers, décor teams, entertainment, etc.).

• Payments to these vendors are your responsibility unless TEH has agreed in writing to handle them on your behalf.

• TEH is not responsible for the quality, timeliness, or refunds related to third-party vendors unless directly contracted through TEH.

5. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information, timely approvals, and access required for planning and execution.

• Ensure that any special permits, licenses, or permissions (if required) are procured in a timely manner.

6. Limitation of Liability

• TEH will make every effort to ensure your event proceeds smoothly. However, TEH will not be liable for circumstances beyond its reasonable control (see Force Majeure).

• Liability for damages or claims, if any, shall not exceed the total fee paid to TEH.

7. Force Majeure

• Neither TEH nor the client will be held responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions).

• In such cases, TEH will make good-faith efforts to reschedule the event or apply a credit note.

8. Intellectual Property

• All designs, proposals, and creative materials prepared by TEH remain its intellectual property.

• Clients may not reproduce or use them for other purposes without prior written consent.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• These Terms and any disputes shall be governed by the laws of India.

• The courts of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, will have exclusive jurisdiction.
